Since I started changing my diet to glutenfree and dairyfree in autumn 2015, my energylevel slowly increased. This made it possible to work on my physical condition and after trying several activities I started running. Quite a challenge for me as PSC-patient, even more challenging with my total knee replacement.
As most of you know I have Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC), a rare liver disease, for about 30 years now. Currently there is no cure for it.
PSC Patients Europe is doing a great job in getting PSC awareness and working on a national and international level with clinicians and researchers to find the cause of my disease (PSC is the last black box of the liver), resulting in a cure and to get a better Quality of Life. Please find a link to their achievements here. And, PSC Patients Europe continues their activities, thanks to donations like yours.
To support PSC Patients Europe I am planning to participate in various running events.
The first event already took place on February 11th, 2018, Groet uit Schoorl 2018, 10 km.
The next event is scheduled on April 22nd, 2018, the Leeuwarden Urban Trail, 10 km. Click here for more information about this event.
Next events will appear on this page. Meanwhile, please don’t hesitate to inspire me & donate to PSC Patients Europe. I will try & keep track of my activities on Instagram.
